T2k Transforms Bryanston School's Telephony with 3CX Migration

T2k has supported Bryanston School for several years, initially assisting with their Mitel MiVoice Business PBX. Recently, the decision was made to migrate to a cloud-based 3CX solution.

Bryanston enlisted T2k's help to design and deploy the 3CX system throughout the school. This involved implementing a mix of IP desk phones, DECT cordless phones, PC/Mac softphones, and smartphone clients to meet the diverse needs of each user and department.

To minimise disruption, T2k reviewed the existing configuration and identified ways that 3CX could streamline call routing and processes, allowing cost savings by eliminating the need for upstream call routing services.

Pre-programming = less disruption

By undertaking pre-programming and configuration behind the scenes without impacting the current system, T2k were able to roll out new devices with minimal disruption, prioritising key users of the phone system. Bryanston's staff were also provided access to tutorial videos to help them familiarise themselves with the new system at their own pace.

Working alongside in-house IT resources

As Bryanston has an excellent in-house IT team, T2k worked closely with them during the configuration phases to effectively train them on the day-to-day administration of the 3CX system. This helped build the IT team's fundamental understanding of 3CX and how to leverage its powerful features to enhance the school's telephony infrastructure.

Outstanding user feedback

The deployment has received excellent feedback from users, who are already enjoying the ease of use and capabilities of the softphone clients. Bryanston's project lead, Chris Blacker, also provided a very positive Google review of the project.
