Answering calls on the Polycom IP5000 Soundstation conference unit

In this guide we explain how you can answer calls on your Polycom IP5000 Soundstation Conference phone

Key:

You can answer a call when your phone is idle, when you have held calls, or if you’re currently in a call. If you answer a call when you’re already in a call, the call you were in is automatically held.

If you’re in a call and an incoming call arrives, the Ringing icon displays, and the call counter updates.

To answer a call:

• Press [Call Button] or the Answer soft key. (If your phone has a silent ring, press the Answer soft key to answer the call.)

To answer a call when you’re in an active call:

• Scroll to the incoming call, and then press the Answer soft key.
  The original call is held, and the new call becomes the active call.

To answer a call when you have only held calls:

• Press [Call Button] or the Answer soft key.
